Nwaru Oluchi Caroline, the founder of Women Aid Empowerment Network Initiatives, has emerged as a compassionate and dedicated philantropist. Her journey rooted in her media career, has evolved into a mission of humanitarian efforts, community development, and social advocacy, driven by the pressing needs of women and the Girl Child in Nigeria and Africa today.
Oluchi's story began in radio, where she captivated audiences as a presenter for the Fanta Fun Time and kids program at Kidan radio in kano state. Her talent led her to diverse roles, including traffic reporting fand achoring student talk shows at Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC) in Calabar.
During her National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Oluchi served with the Human Right Commission , which shaped her commitment to advocacy and public service. She gained national broadcasting experience with the national television authortiy (NTA) and excelled at leadership newspaper as an advert executive and reporter in Abuja. Her freelancing and work with Moon report magazine demonsrtrated her dedication to journalism.
Her Entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Tent Mag, an in-house magazine. Her role as a reporter with Atlantic TV Network (ATN) further solidified her media industry reputation.
Oluchi's exceptional skills earned her positions as the media aide to the personal assistant (PA) for the wife of the Governor of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Abeni Adeleke, and political figure Senator Andy Ubah and Hon. Ben Etu. These roles highlighted her ability to manage high-profile media relations effectively.
Drawing on her extensice experience, Oluchi founded the Women Aid Empowerment Network Initiatives to address the
urgent needs of the less privileged Women and the Girl Child in Nigeria.
